REGIS FOUNDATION FOR BREAST CANCER RESEARCH DONATES $400,000 TO MAYO CLINIC
Thanks to our stylists, guests and business partners for a successful Clip for the Cure! On October 19th, our stylists performed over 225,000 haircuts at over 7,000 salons. In addition, throughout the campaign, our guests bought "pink products" and gave donations.
The money we raised benefits The Regis Foundation for Breast Cancer Research, which funds groundbreaking research. After the campaign, The Foundation donated $400,000 to Mayo Clinic. The donation supports Matthew Goetz, M.D., a Mayo Clinic oncologist who is working with the National Cancer Institute to develop endoxifen, a drug to treat women with breast cancer that is resistant to standard hormonal based therapies.
Over the years, we've raised over $10 million to fight this devastating disease. We appreciate your generosity!
